The Arquipélago – Contemporary Arts Center opens the exhibition Confissões de uma baptizada, by Carla Filipe, on September 24 at 5 pm.

Artist Carla Filipe builds an installation that will occupy rooms 1 and 2, using drawing, flags, printing and poetry, in a celebration of women and a scathing critique of the patriarchy. This exhibition, “Confessions of a Baptized”, is the result of an investigation initiated in the residency that the artist carried out last year at Arquipélago – Contemporary Arts Center, which has its starting point in this territory. This exhibition precedes the major retrospective that Serralves Museum will dedicate to the artist early next year.
