WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?

A sound bath is a unique form of concert that instantly eliminates stress. It’s part guided relaxation and part concert. The participants lie down with their eyes closed throughout a one-hour listening experience.

WHY DO A SOUND BATH?

A sound bath can be described both as a “mindfulness hack” or a “sonic massage”.

It’s a way to reap the benefits of meditation – reduced stress, boosts in creativity, a general feeling of happiness – without actually meditating.

No prior experience with yoga, meditation or the like is required to benefit from at sound bath.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SOUND BATH?

Anders’ sound baths begin with a guided relaxation. As ambient sounds gently wash over the listener Anders delivers instructions on how to relax every particle of the body and simultaneously become more and more aware of the music on a phenomenological level. After twenty minutes or so, the volume is turned up and soft, pulsating sounds immerse the audience in an acoustic landscape of slowly unfolding patterns. Towards the end of the sonic journey, Anders instructs the audience on how to come out of deep relaxation, and slowly come back to everyday awareness.

After the sound bath there is the possibility to do a Q&A, where the participants can share their experiences and ask questions.
