Arquipélago – Contemporary Arts Centre distinguished in the International Award of Architecture BigMat
The Arquipélago – Contemporary Arts Centre, a project of the architect João Mendes Ribeiro and the Office Menos é Mais, from Francisco Vieira de Campos and Cristina Guedes, was distinguished in the Rehabilitation category for the BIGMAT’17 International Architecture Award.
The BigMat’17 award sets its goal into awarding the achitectonical excelence, favoring the dialogue between the different figures that participate in the sector of achitecture, in favor of a quality construction. The sponsor is the BigMat International S.A. group, created in 1981, with main headquarters in Luxembourg and presence in seven european countries, such as the regions of Wallonia and Brussels-Capital of Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Slovakia.
