The Arquipélago – Contemporary Arts Centre, within its mission and public service, sets its goal into creation and difusion of Contemporary Art and Culture, therefore, intrinsically, one of its greatest valences are Artistic Residences’ programs. All of its artistic and cultural programming is highlighted through the contemporary art’s transversality including, in this way, visual arts; performing arts; installations; multimedia; photography; cinema; documentaries; design; fashion; architecture; among others.

The Art Centre La Regenta, from the Canary’s Government, promotes art from a cultural space with a strong focus in public services’ offer linked to exhibitions, productions and trainings in contemporary art.

During the month of October, the ARQUIPÉLAGO – Contemporary Arts Centre launched an Open Call, for Azorean artists, for the realisation of an Artistic Residence in the Art Centre La Regenta, within the protocol between the Regional Secretariat of Education and Culture / Regional Direction of Culture, through the ARQUIPÉLAGO – Contemporary Arts Centre, and the Art Centre La Regenta, located in Las Palmas in the Canary Islands.
