The Workshop TO DECIDE / TO CREATE / TO COMMUNICATE / TO LISTEN aims at offering participants a brief practical experience of some important elements for the work of the actor / creator. Therefore, the workshop proposes an introduction, an experimentation and a familiarization with a set of essential tools for the creative process conducted for the scene, in particular: special exploitation and conscience, rhythm, directionality of the look, decision-making, active listening of the “I” in contact / confrontation with self and the other; and, basic notions of counter scene. The concrete engine for the practical work will be a specific scene that, the participants, divided in pairs, will have to build, putting into operation the tools previously presented and exercising their singular creativity, imagination, intuition and decision capacity jointly. At the end, each group will present their scenic proposal that will be reflected on and analyzed jointly.
Finally, the facilitators will present the suggested scene to the participants, taking into account the way it was thought within the show to star on the 20th of September in the Arquipélago – the trees let the most beautiful branches die.
