BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Chapitô Company
Created in 1996
It values comedy by its power to question all aspects of physical and social reality.
Since its founding, it has created multidisciplinary shows based on the physical work of the actor in a collective and constantly changing process that invites the public imagination and is closely related to it.
It communicates, essentially through gesture and image, breaking the language barriers and affirming its universal vocation, which allows it a very close relation with the spectators and that results in national and international roaming.
Since its formation it has produced 34 original creations, presented in Portugal and around the world: Argentina, Brazil, Cape Verde, China, Colombia, Slovakia, Spain, Finland, France, Iran, Italy, Norway and Sweden.
