The exhibition will be the anchor for an expanded cultural program that FLAD and the Arquipélago – Contemporary Arts Centre will develop over four months on the Island of São Miguel, with the aim of promoting art and culture in the region.
This program will include guided tours and workshop visits for students from all teaching cycles on the island of São Miguel; drawing workshops with renowned artists, open classes with the curators of the exhibition – António Pinto Ribeiro and Sandra Vieira Jürgens – ; a summer school for secondary and higher education students, and scholarships were created for this school for students from other islands of the Azores.
