Biographical Note

A sonic and scenic constructor, who works with pre-language, dub, crystallization, percussion, voice, allopoiesis, animism and echo.  Between 2016/2018 he presented the installation/performance VOCODER & CAMOFLAUGE at the CAC Passarelle/Dans Fabrik, in Brest; the play O POÇO in the festival DDD-RIVOLI Porto; the installation OXIDATION MACHINE in DoDisturb at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris and in the Casa de Serralves Porto; the piece PLETHORA at the festivals Out.Fest and Verão Azul, Portugal; end the exhibit AFASIA TÁTICA in Culturgest and ANÓXIA in the Anozero Bienal de Coimbra.  Founder of the arts platform SOOPA.  Co-founder of the record label SILORUMOR.  Directed the play JUNGLE MACHINE, KHŌROS ANIMA, SANCTA VISCERA TUA, DEL, SILVO UMBRA, and co-created the pieces NYARLATHOTEP and REI TRILOGY.  Co-organizer for the SONORES program for the CEC Guimarães in 2012.  Director of the ensemble HHY & the Macumbas and is co-founder of the band Fujako.  Played in various formations or solo in the festivals: Sónar, Primavera Sound, Milhões da Festa, Neopop, Elevate.  His music is published by Ångström, Tzadik, Rotorelief, SiloRumor e Wordsound.  His film/essay MUNDO DE CRISTAL is published by Museu de Serralves.
