Miguel Leal (Porto,1967). Lives and works in Porto.

Miguel Leal studied fine arts and painting at ESBAP, art history at the Faculdade de Letras of the University of Porto and Communication and Language at the FCSH of UNL. He is a professor at FBAUP.

Pedro Tudela (Viseu, 1962)

Born in Viseu, in 1962.  He finished the Painting Course at the Escola de Belas Artes in Porto (ESBAP) in 1987. He serves as Auxiliary Professor of Fine Arts at the University of Porto (FBAUP).  As a student in ESBAP, he was cofounder of the Missionary Group: organizing exhibitions both nationally and internationally of painting, mail art, and performance.  He has participated in various performance festivals since 1982.  He is the author and presenter of the radio programs ‘escolhe um dedo’ and ‘atmosfera reduzida’ on xfm between 1996 and 1996.  In 1992, for the occasion of the exhibition “Mute…life”, he founded the multimedia collective Mute Life Dept. (MLd.)  Engaging in sound production since 1992, participating in concerts, performances and editions of graphic recordings, in Portugal and abroad.  Co-founder and one of the elements of the multidisciplinary digital music project @c.  Founding member of the media label Crónica.  Works in scenography since 2003.  Exhibiting regularly since 1981.  Has participated in innumerable group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad since the beginning of the 1980’s.  His work can be found in museums as well as public and private art collections. Lives and works in Porto.
